ESTATE IN THE FOREST: Located in the Oltrepò Pavese DOCG zone of Lombardy, the village of ZenevREDo is home to Tenuta il Bosco, the 'Estate in the Forest', where 120 hectares of planted vines are used to create wines wIth a remarkable finish BONARDA VIVACE: A semi-sparkling red wine derived from Croatina grapes that displays an intense ruby-red colour with violet reflections. It is intensely fruity on the nose with notes of violets, bitter almonds, black cherries and plums A DRY & ROUNDED RED WINE: Bonarda Vivace is dry, rounded, and savoury on the palate while being slightly pétillant. This lightly sparkling, Italian red is best served chilled at 14-16°C VINIFICATION: Using a traditional method, 100% Croatina grapes are fermented with bunches macerated on the skin in stainless steel tanks for a few days to allow the wine to develop its frizzante and create a palate that is juicy, forward, and rich PAIRING NOTES: A glass of the Bonarda Vivace will pair excellently with savoury tarts, agnolotti, meatfilled ravioli, sausages, roast or stewed white meats, and moderately aged cheeses
