tesa 51026 PET Cloth Wire Harness Tape is a high-strength tape designed for bundling and wire protection of automotive wire harnesses typically located in engine compartments of motor vehicles. Made from PET cloth and a solvent-free acrylic adhesive that is compatible with newer halogen-free cable jacketing materials (PE/PP). Because of the intended application, this tape possesses excellent temperature, abrasion, weather, and aging resistance in addition to being flame retardant. Fogging and halogen-free, with a flexible and smooth construction for easy application on inconsistent surfaces. Can be used for manual or automatic applications. Carrier/Backing: PET cloth. Adhesive: acrylic. Thickness: 10.2 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 24.3 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Service/Operating Temperature: -40F to 302F. Elongation: 40%.
