Testo 106 Food Penetration Thermometer The Testo 106 Penetration Thermometer measures the internal temperature of food from -50 ̊C to 275 ̊C with a best accuracy of ±0.5 ̊C and a resolution of 0.1 ̊C which makes it suitable for checking that food is cooked through or stored at the right temperature. Temperature readings are taken through a 2.2mmø diameter probe tip which leaves only a tiny mark on the food in question. Results are shown on the Testo 106’s digital screen which also features data hold and autohold for final value recognition. The user can also set adjustable alarm limits and the thermometer will give out an audible and visual warning if these are exceeded. The thermometer comes with a protective cover and this can be upgraded to a TopSafe dishwasher-safe protective cover which makes the Testo 106 compliant with HACCP and EN 13485. The instrument is covered by a two-year warranty.
