The sportsman’s choice - The Fat Trout is a 3 Years Old blended whisky produced by Ian Macleod. The blend is made off 30 different single malts. Speyside malts are mainly used but also Islay and the Highlands are represented in the mix and give it’s bright golden amber colour Nose: Soft notes of oak and malt are mixed with light floral and fruity notes. Fresh aromas combine with hints of heather blossom and smoky notes Taste: The Fat Trout is a medium body and contains notes of vanilla, bitter oranges and spices. The hints of smoke follow through to the palate Finish: Lively, clean, lingering spiciness. Slightly salty, well balanced with quite long and gentle aftertaste with hints of dark mocca and a touch of orange juice
