Portable wheelchair ramp: RollAble wheelchair ramp rolls for storage and transportation. Provided with a black strap to secure the ramp shut during storage. The edges of the ramp have cut out handles to alllow the ramp to be maneuvered as required. Adjustable: The wheelchair ramp can be reduced in size by removing sections with the Allen key and spanner provided. Suitability: With a 350kg capacity, the ramp is suitable for manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, scooters and walkers. The ramp can also be used to load goods into vehicles and over steps. 660mm external width, 640mm internal width. Total width including orange edges is 685mm Safety: The ramp is provided with a rest on connection, anti-slip surface and safety edges. The foot of the ramp provides users with a smooth transition from ground level onto the ramp. Use: Suitable for overcoming steps, thresholds and doorways. The ramp can be used as a straight ramp to overcome steps or be used to go up and over a threshold. The portable ramp can be left inside or outside. Identifying your ramp length: For assisted manual wheelchairs we suggest a maximum of a 1:6 gradient, for scooters and electric wheelchairs a 1:8 graident. Please note, due to the length of the rest on connection an additional 1ft is recommended. For example, if you are going up 1ft in an assisted manual wheelchair we would suggest a 7ft ramp. Please see more details below. Additional features: The ramp includes support stands which are provided. Support stands are adjustable between 47cm - 63cm. Size: This 15ft ramp is 4572mm x 685mm x 41.5kg. Rolled diameter is 965mm. Please note the ramp is not suitable for solid wheels such as those on flightcases and pallet trucks. Not suitable for rubber wheels with a diameter of under 20cm. The ramp is designed to be used at a maximum height of 710mm based on an assisted manual wheelchair using the ramp. For loading goods the maximum load height is 1282mm.
