Use - This disabled access ramp can be used to provide access to homes, offices, gardens, shops, events and more. With a 350kg capacity, the mobility ramp is suitable for manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walkers whilst the handrails provide additional support and confidence to those with limited mobility. The metal ramp can be used as a fixed or portable ramp. Specification - This 8ft ramp is 2438mm x 933mm x 50mm. When the handrails are attached the height of the kit is 927mm. Useable ramp width is 888mm. The ramp weighs 27.5kg, the handrails weigh 11.7kg. When handrails are attached the kit is slightly wider at 1020mm at the widest point. Designed for overcoming heights up to 405mm based on an assisted manual wheelchair, maximum height of 305mm for mobility scooters and walkers. Portable or fixed - The solid wheelchair ramp can be used as a portable wheelchair ramp which is simply rested on the step, kerb or doorway when required. Alternatively, fix the ramp in place using the pre-drilled 6mm holes provided. Features - Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, can be left outside. Anti-slip aluminium surface.
