Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Roofing Screws 5.5 x 110mm Box of 50

TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are designed to join timber to steel frames in construction projects. They feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole to prevent thread engagement in timber during drilling. Upon contacting the metal surface, the wings ream a hole and break off, allowing the screw to engage with the steel. The screws have a TORX compatible insert for higher torque transmission and improved countersinking from recessed ribs. The No.3 drill tip enables self-drilling for light gauge steel up to 5 mm. These screws are compatible with both timber and steel, and are fire and corrosion resistant with compliance to EU safety and environmental requirements.
