The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It has a 25° sharp point for quick penetration and a 60° twin-thread profile with a parallel shank to enhance insertion speed and pull-out resistance. The pozi recess and double countersunk head help reduce head shear and aid countersinking. Made from C10-18 steel with zinc plating (3–5 microns), it is built to BS 1210 standards and is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs, making it suitable for general joinery tasks in a range of timber types.
