The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various hardwoods. It features a double countersunk head and a zinc plating for durability and corrosion resistance. The 60° twin-thread with a single lead start enables faster insertion and improved pull-out resistance, while the 25° sharp point supports a quick start. Partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above, the screw is made from C10-18 steel to ensure consistent quality and is hardened on the surface up to 750 HV with a core hardness up to 450 HV for improved ductility. It is manufactured to BS 1210 standards and is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs. Primarily used in soft timber applications, it can also be used in masonry with a plastic plug, offering a versatile fastening solution while reducing the risk of head shear during countersinking.
