The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general woodworking in softwood and hardwood, with compatibility for use in masonry applications when paired with a plastic plug. It features a single lead start for fast installation and 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank, aiding faster insertion and improved pull-out resistance. The screw has a double countersunk head to reduce the chance of head shear and provide a flush finish. Partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above, it is crafted from C10-18 steel and is zinc plated to help protect against corrosion. This traditional twin-thread design combines a sharp 25° point with a single lead to facilitate easy penetration and thread acceptance.
