The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It is partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above, and includes a double countersunk head to reduce the likelihood of head shear and aid countersinking. Made from C10-18 steel, it provides consistent quality with zinc plating and hardened characteristics to resist torque and improve pull-out resistance. The screw is manufactured to BS 1210 standards and is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs, offering versatile use across woodworking and light masonry tasks.
