This product is a single-thread woodscrew designed for use in timber and man-made boards, or into masonry with a plastic plug. It is sized 4.0 x 40 mm and made from gold-coated steel. It features a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and assist countersinking, wax lubrication to enhance insertion time, extra driving torque, and resistance to corrosion, along with a 40° deep single thread to provide a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. The screw has a 25° sharp point and a single lead for a fast start and improved thread acceptance. For varying lengths, all sizes up to 75 mm are fully threaded, and lengths of 80 mm and above have a 70 mm thread length.
