TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for use in timber, man-made boards, and masonry with a plastic plug. They feature a special thread configuration that provides strong pull-out resistance and reliable fixing. The 6.0 x 70 mm size is fully threaded up to 70 mm, with a 25° sharp point and a single lead for quick starts. Plating options include Zinc & Yellow or Zinc & Clear. They are wax lubricated to ease insertion and improve drive torque and corrosion resistance. The design includes a 40° deep single thread to secure the fixing, and a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and aid countersinking. They are suitable for easy penetration into wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, and thin sheet metal, and can be used into masonry with a plastic plug.
