This is a single thread woodscrew designed for fastening into timber, man-made boards, or masonry with the use of a plastic plug. It features a double countersunk head to reduce the likelihood of head shear, and a wax-lubricated finish to help with screw insertion time, extra driving torque, and corrosion resistance. The screw uses a 40° deep single thread to provide a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance, and a 25° sharp point with a single lead to promote a fast start and smooth thread acceptance. Sizes up to 75 mm are fully threaded, while lengths of 80 mm and above have a 70 mm thread length, balancing grip with ease of driving depending on the board thickness and substrate.
