The TIMco 10 x 50mm Solo Coach Screws are a heavy-duty, hex flange-headed coach screw designed as a modern replacement for traditional DIN 571 screws. They feature an aggressive slash point to aid driving and reduce splitting, making them suitable for a variety of materials including softwood, hardwood, and man-made board, as well as masonry when used with a nylon plug. The screws are zinc plated and yellow passivated for improved corrosion resistance, with a partially threaded shank and a large fixed washer to assist clamping and reduce head pull-through. They are compatible with impact tools in high torque applications and include a socket driver. The product is intended for use in applications such as timber framing, landscaping, decking, fencing, stairs, roofing, gazebos, pergolas, and railway sleepers.
