Timco 4.0 x 40 mm Classic Stainless Steel Pan Head Wood Screws are designed for durability and corrosion resistance. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, they are suitable for softwoods, hardwoods (when pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic, and can be used in corrosive environments or with materials that have inherent corrosive characteristics such as Green Oak. The screws feature a pan head with a square recess to improve clamping, and a 40° single-thread design that provides high pull-out resistance. A 25° sharp point and a single slash point help reduce timber splitting at low edge distances. They are tested for salt spray resistance and are rated for moderate salt atmospheres, offering reliable performance where corrosion resistance is critical.
