TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for versatile use in timber, man-made boards, and masonry when used with a plastic plug. They feature a special thread configuration that delivers high pull-out resistance and secure fixing across a range of applications. The screws are wax-lubricated to enhance insertion time and driving torque while improving resistance to corrosion. They are available with Zinc & Yellow or Zinc & Clear plating, and offer a 25° sharp point for easy penetration. In addition, many sizes are fully threaded up to 70 mm, with lengths up to 75 mm also fully threaded, and all sizes 80 mm and above having a 70 mm thread length. A cross recess double countersink option is available in both plating types, reducing head shear and aiding countersinking. The fast start and improved thread acceptance are supported by a 40° deep single thread, intended to provide a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance for a variety of applications.
