TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for use in various types of timber and man-made boards, as well as masonry when used with a plastic plug. They feature a special thread configuration that provides high pull-out resistance, making them suitable for a range of applications. Key characteristics include a 25° sharp point for easy penetration, a single thread design, and wax lubrication to enhance insertion time and driving torque while improving corrosion resistance. Sizes available include 4.0 x 80mm, with all sizes up to 75mm fully threaded and lengths of 80mm and above having a 70mm thread length. They are available with plating types Zinc & Yellow or Zinc & Clear, and can be delivered in a cross recess double countersink variant in both plating options. The product also offers a 40° deep single thread to secure fixing and increase pull-out resistance, with countersinking considerations to reduce head shear.
