TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for use in timber, man-made boards, and masonry with a plastic plug. They feature a special thread configuration for strong performance and high pull-out resistance across a range of applications. The screws are yellow passivated and use a wax lubricant to aid insertion and reduce corrosion. They are designed to penetrate easily with a 25° sharp point, and are suited for wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, and thin sheet metal. The design includes a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and assist countersinking, along with a 40° deep single thread to provide secure fixing and high pull-out resistance. The screws are fully threaded up to 70mm, with a single lead for fast start and improved thread acceptance, and are intended for use in various types of timber, man-made boards, or masonry when used with a plastic plug.
