Solo Woodscrew is a single-thread screw designed for use in various types of timber and man-made boards, or into masonry with a plastic plug. Available in two finishes—Yellow Passivated and Gold Passivated—the Timco product complies with BS1210 and features a Classic Head with a double countersunk design to reduce head shear and aid flush seating. The classic thread configuration provides high pull-out resistance, and the screw is fully threaded up to 70 mm, becoming partially threaded beyond that. A 25° sharp point facilitates penetration into wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics and thin sheet metal. These screws are zinc-plated (3 microns) with either yellow passivation or gold passivation and are lubricated to improve insertion time, driving torque, and corrosion resistance. Made from C10-18 steel, this packaging would typically be supplied in packs of 1000 pieces.
