TIMCO Wafer Head Exterior Green Timber Screws are designed as an alternative to traditional coach screws, ideal for timber-to-timber applications. The wafer head provides improved clamping and a low-profile finish. They measure 6.7 x 125 mm and are coated with a patented multi-layer corrosion resistant plating, offering durability for external projects. The screws withstand a salt spray exposure of 1,000 hours in accordance with BS EN 9227:2012, and feature a wafer head countersunk design with a TX30 recess. A helix shank aids debris removal and enhances clamping, while a 50° deep single thread delivers secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. A single slash point reduces torque and minimizes timber splitting at low edge distance, making them suitable for outdoor timber-to-timber connections.
