It features a single lead start for fast installation, and a traditional twin-thread design with double countersunk head. This screw is suitable for soft timber applications and can be used in masonry when paired with a plastic plug. Constructed from C10-18 steel and zinc plated, it offers surface hardness up to 750 HV and core hardness up to 450 HV. The 60-degree twin-threads with a parallel shank improve insertion speed and pull-out resistance, while the 25-degree sharp point and single lead thread promote quick thread acceptance. The recess head reduces the likelihood of head shear and aids countersinking. The screw is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs. Note that it is partially threaded.
