TIMCO Twin Threaded Woodscrews PZ Double Countersunk 8 x 1 3/4 Zinc Plated Box of 200

The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. Made from C10-18 steel and zinc plated, it offers corrosion resistance and robust performance under load. The screw has a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and facilitate flush countersinking, and it is partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above. The 60-degree twin-threads with a parallel shank provide faster insertion and improved pull-out resistance, while a 25-degree sharp point supports a quick start and better thread acceptance. It is manufactured to BS 1210 standards and is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs.
