Description
The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various hardwoods. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It measures 8 x 3 and is made from C10-18 steel with zinc plating (3–5 microns). The screw is surface hardened up to 750 HV and has a core hardness of up to 450 HV, with 60° twin-threads and a 25° sharp point to aid rapid thread acceptance. Partially threaded from 1¼
