100% Cotton printed French designer Toile de Jouy fabric. This beautiful authentic French Toile de Jouy design has the off-white/natural background featured in the original toile de jouy designs that originated in France in the late 18th century. The design is printed in French blue, with a fabulously detailed and meticulously drawn, traditional pastoral scene, featuring (in particular) a family picnic, a game-playing scene, couples and groups dancing to music, children playing and animals, surrounded by a countryside backdrop made up of buildings, trees, and plants.
