Asteria Move LED table lamp with rechargeable battery for portable use Elegant and offering incredible freedom of movement, the Asteria Move LED table lamp from the Danish design studio UMAGE can be used anywhere in the home. Thanks to its built-in lithium-ion battery, the lamp can provide light for up to an average of 35 hours without being plugged in. The battery can be recharged via a USB-C cable. The round lampshade houses warm white LEDs that emit a cosy and comfortable light, which is distributed evenly in all directions – gently and without glare – thanks to the integrated diffuser. The touch dimmer on the equally round and solid base makes the light dimmable by allowing it to be dimmed to four different brightness levels by pressing the switch several times. The Asteria collection was designed by the co-founder and Chief Creative Developer, Søren Ravn Christensen. The designer is self-taught and possesses the rare gift of combining design with economic efficiency. Speaking about his collection, he says: “The Asteria collection, which was created at the intersection of design, technology and craftsmanship, features integrated LED lights in a sleek, minimalist form.” Together with the current CEO, Jacob Nannestad Hansen, Christensen founded the company UMAGE by VITA copenhagen in 2008. Asteria Move Table Lamp Black is a beautiful, slim and minimalistic lamp in a portable version. The built-in battery is easily charged via the included USB charging cable, after which the lamp can be taken around the home - as a cosy living room light, a temporary reading light or a night light. Choose from three different light intensities that are adjusted via the button on the base of the lamp. The lamp can provide up to 35 hours of light on a full charge, depending on the light level you use. Thanks to the hidden USB output, you can charge your phone or tablet directly from the lamp - even when the lamp is not switched on. This eliminates the need for extra cables on your desk or bedside table, where space is often limited. The lamp's built-in LED is hidden behind a white diffuser that ensures a pleasant and even light without glare.
