ZIGBEE GROUPS & SCENES: Able to participate in Zigbee Group and Scene messaging to allow creation of Smart lighting scenarios. NO HUB REQUIRED: Can operate standalone if needed, for example being directly paired to a remote control or wall controller. This means for simple installations you don't even need a Zigbee Hub, but can optionally add one at a later date to expand the functionality available.
