Vidoflex 9 from Gallagher is a high-quality braided polywire for longer electric fences or to divide, split, or design plots. Excellent conductivity due to three copper conductors Vidoflex 9 wire has a very low resistance of 0.06 Ω/m and is therefore 80% more conductive than standard plastic electric fence wires. This conductivity is due to three tinned copper wires of 0.25 mm in the core of the wire. This is important because it ensures that there is also sufficient power over long fences. Vidoflex 9 thus provides more than enough conductivity for distances longer than 500 metres. In addition, six stainless steel wires of 0.15 mm are evenly braided through the 3 mm thick wire. Braided for durability and flexibility Due to the braided structure, the wire remains more intact with regular rolling and unrolling, damage from outside, or weather influences. It also stretches much less than a twisted wire. Smart core construction In the event of damage, conductivity remains intact thanks to the copper wires in the core, ensuring the safety of your animals. The copper wires are wrapped around the core and stretch along when tensioned. This special feature reduces the chance that the wires will break after frequent use and the conductivity of Vidoflex 9 decreases. UV resistant and withstands harsh conditions The UV-stabilised plastic wires are resistant to all weather influences, ensuring the wire remains flexible for years without becoming brittle. Vidoflex 9 has a UV warranty of 5 years. Terra polywire has a warm, brown hue that visually blends into the landscape and is therefore less noticeable to the human eye. This colour is particularly suitable for locations where the fence should not be dominantly present.
