The Weicon No.5 Solar Pro Automatic Wire Stripper is designed for stripping and skinning cables used in solar applications, including H1Z2Z2-K cables from 1.5 to 10 mm². It automatically adjusts to the conductor size, eliminating manual adjustments. The tool features hardened blades that remove multi-layer rubberized insulation and a slim profile that allows access to tight spaces such as solar modules or inverters. An adjustable length stop ranges from 5 to 25 mm, and can be removed for flexibility. The integrated side cutter works with copper and aluminum conductors up to 3 mm in diameter. A non-slip multi-component handle provides comfortable operation, and an eyelet enables attachment of a safety strap. The tool also includes a labelling area for personalization, a locking mechanism for compact storage, and replaceable galvanised blades.
