Orzo is a short-cut pasta that looks like a big grain of rice. When paired with other orzo colours or white rice, such as in a white rice pilaf with orange orzo, the colour of the orzo pops out. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Orzo pasta can be eaten on its own, as a soup side dish, in salads, pilafs, or giouvetsi, or baked in a casserole. Saffron, chillies, and black beans can be used to colour orzo to make yellow, orange, or black pasta. In Italian soups like minestrone, orzo pasta is frequently cooked. To make it seem like risotto, it's also cooked and lightly fried.
