Zinsser Peel Stop 2.5 Litre

Peel Stop® is a clear, flexible bridging sealer designed for surfaces affected by peeling, flaking, dusting or chalking. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it creates a breathable membrane over questionable or faulty substrates and bonds to old paint to form a sound surface for new paint. The acrylic film remains flexible to allow moisture to escape, helping to prevent further peeling and extending the life of problem surfaces. It dries clear and provides a stable base for subsequent coats, with coverage typically between 7.4 and 9.8 m² per litre.

For best results, ensure air and surface temperatures are between 10 °C and 32 °C and moisture is below 80%. The product is designed to be used on a variety of substrates, including wood siding and trim, yellow pine, rough sawn cedar, textured plywood, chalking or powdering surfaces, concrete and concrete block, stucco and galvanized gutters.

It is a flexible, breathable sealer suitable for interior and exterior projects, forming a breathable sound membrane that helps to prevent peeling.
