200 YEAR LEGACY: A family winery nestled in the heart of the Veneto region, in the small town of Gambellara. A testament to more than seven generatons of dedication & passion. Still and sparkling wines that epitomize exceptional quality and value VINIFICATION: Destemmed and gently pressed, the juice from 100% Sangiovese grapes is left to macerate on the skins for a week under temperature-controlled conditions. After the alcohol ferments, the wine undergoes additional malolactic fermentation THE BOUQUET: A still red wine with a bright ruby colour marked by violet reflections that turn garnet with age. The nose is characteristically intense, distinguished by elegant notes of cherries, spices with wild berries, and fine scents of violets THE TASTE: An extremely enticing palate with a lingering acidity that is dry, fresh, and full-bodied with medium tannins. The malolactic fermentation causes the wine to become rounder with a fuller flavour, properly showcasing the cherry and spice PAIRING NOTES: Best served around 16-18°C, when the Chianti is young it combines well with the hearty flavours of country cooking, and after the third year it is the ideal companion for roasts, grilled red meats, game and moderately aged cheeses
