Still and sparkling wines that epitomize exceptional quality and value VINIFICATION: Using a traditional technique that promotes a second fermentation, this Ripasso is made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara. The wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels for a year and for a further six months in the bottle THE BOUQUET: Get lost in the intense, deep ruby-red colour of a wine with an ample and remarkably complex bouquet that offers vinous tones and well-defined scents of cherries against a tenuous background of chocolate THE TASTE: A fine and harmonious balance with great strength and a sturdy body, this red is dry on the palate with a delectably clean and highly persistent finish PAIRING NOTES: Best served chilled at 17-18°C, the Ripasso makes for a particularly fine accompaniment for all meat dishes, savoury preparations of the rural tradition and cheeses that have been aged for moderate to long periods
