Artisan Korenwijn style of Genever made at Zuidam Distillers and aged for 1 year in small American oak barrels. Korenwijn is a fruity, delicate style of Genever Sweet toffee and juicy fruits on the palate with aromas of juniper, vanilla and oak Best drunk neat or over ice, but can also be enjoyed in a long drink with ginger ale Korenwijn is made from 'malt-wine', distilled from rye, corn and malted barley for a fruity flavour. This 'malt-wine' is then lightly flavoured with herbs and spices before being aged for a year to add some sweetness and oak flavours Zuidam Distillers make all of their own 'malt-wine' in traditional pot stills at their distillery in Baarle-Nassau
