FOUNDED AFTER A BROKEN LEG AND A BROKEN NOSE – The first gin ever distilled in Ljubljana, made by three friends: a philosophy professor, a computer scientist and a marketing veteran. The name is honest — in July 2016, two of the founders ended up in hospital while working on their first whisky barrels (one broken leg, one broken nose). The Vič, Ljubljana distillery opened in 2019, and Broken Bones is now one of the most-awarded craft distilleries in the world with 100+ international medals.
