The discreet design with the characteristic features of modernism - cylinder, circle and sphere - makes Kaiser idell™ a true prototype of this legendary design style. The design of the floor lamp comes from the German designer Christian Dell, by profession first a silversmith, later a teacher of industrial design and in the years from 1922 to 1925 workshop master of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar. The original lamps in the collection started selling in 1936 and to this day, they are characterised by their excellent German design, impeccable choices of material, and precision technique.
