Timelessly beautiful design floor lamp Kaiser idell™ in light grey The Kaiser idell™ floor lamp in typical Bauhaus style, which was already created in 1931 by Christian Dell, looks very noble. It belongs to a whole series of lamps that have long enjoyed iconic status. Its creator, Christian Dell, was a German silversmith and designer (1893-1974) who, after completing his professional training, studied under Henry van de Velde at the Saxon School of Arts and Crafts in Weimar from 1912 to 1913. From 1922 to 1925, he worked as a workshop foreman in the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar. In 1926 he took over the direction of the Frankfurt art school. Since this time Dell designed lamps and the lamp series Kaiser idell™ is considered a symbol of noble German design, which is characterized by the choice of exquisite materials and the precise craftsmanship and mechanical processing. The Kaiser idell™ floor lamp complements any room with a stylish home accessory that provides cosy additional lighting that can also be easily changed in orientation thanks to the asymmetrical shade with its patented swivel joint. The Kaiser idell™ lamp series is produced in the highest quality by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN.

Lamp MastersKaiser Idell was silversmith Christian Dell’s suggestion for a Bauhaus lighting collection – it doesn’t get more original than that. The Kaiser Idell Floor Lamp model 6556-F in easy grey offers precision techniques and excellent craftsmanship. Its unique and high quality exudes originality, but also offers exceptional sculptural quality and a stringently clean design. The collection is focused on the patented swivel joint and the incredibly characteristic shade is easy to recognise, thanks to the stamp on the top that confirms the project to be an “ORIGINAL KAISER-idell”. The original lamps in the collection started selling in 1936 and to this day, they are characterised by their excellent German design, impeccable choices of material, and precision technique.
