Minimalist Suspence™ pendant light with shiny copper shade The Suspence™ pendant light from GamFratesi is a very special eye-catcher. The Danish/Italian designer duo captured the movement of a drop of water floating in the air in the form of the shiny copper lampshade, which is their inspiration. The gently rounded form lends the overall look a calm harmony that is also reflected in the light emitted by the bulb, which is emitted glare-free into the room through the white plastic diffuser. Suspence P1 in Copper is an incredibly simple and elegant pendant with an organic shape. GamFratesi has translated movement into a physical form by figuring out what happens when you pull certain materials. This is clear from the top of Suspence, which gives the impression that the cable has been pulled through the lamp. It also seems as though the lamp and the cable are one and the same component. Inside the shade is a diffuser which is easy to remove when putting in the bulb. This diffuser ensures that the light is glare-free and its arched shape creates an optical illusion that makes it appear as though the lamp is matte on the inside. Hence the name ‘infinity diffuser™’.
