Gary Barlow’s Sauvignon Blanc is a 2023 vintage white wine from South Africa’s Western Cape, crafted from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc grapes; The fruit is night-harvested to preserve its delicate aromatics, then pressed in a reductive style with minimal oxygen exposure; Bottled in a 75 cl glass format and sealed under screwcap, it carries 11 percent ABV and is ready to drink upon release TASTING NOTES - On the nose, this Sauvignon Blanc is brilliantly expressive, unleashing vibrant aromas of fresh gooseberry and sliced green pepper, accented by a hint of crunchy apple leaf and subtle floral lift TASTING NOTES - The palate is medium-bodied, crisp and zingy, with intense gooseberry and green pepper flavours riding atop a structured backbone; optimaly balanced acidity gives the wine both energy and poise, showcasing purity of fruit without excess weight TASTING NOTES - A long, tightly structured finish trails seamlessly from the palate, where the lively acidity and savoury green pepper notes linger, inviting another sip with their lasting clarity and precision SERVE - Chill to around 8 °C and serve in a tulip-shaped or standard white-wine glass to concentrate the bright aromatics.
