Multi-Lite designer floor lamp: a versatile, adjustable additional light source The special feature of this floor lamp from Gubi is the design of the lampshade. The various metal elements – two quarter spheres and two cylinders in the middle – can be rotated around each other so that the light emitted by the bulb can shine downwards, be emitted indirectly upwards into the surrounding area or be emitted asymmetrically. This allows you to create a cosy atmosphere in your living room, for example, which can be adapted to your needs at any time. Louis Weisdorf is the creative mind behind the Multi-Lite design. The light illustrates the versatility that the Danish designer has achieved in a wide variety of fields throughout his career. After graduating from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1954, Weisdorf worked in the construction industry and, from 1961 to 1971, at the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen, where he held the position of chief assistant to the chief architect. At the end of the 1960s, he founded his own studio in Copenhagen. Stylistically, the Multi-Lite floor lamp is as versatile as its creator: thanks to its timeless aesthetics, Multi-Lite fits in with numerous interior design styles.

Lamp MastersThe Multi-lite s Floor Lamp Shiny Brass/Whit was designed by Louis Weisdorf back in 1972. It consists of two inner, cylindrical lampshades while the two-quarter lampshades in a spherical shape make up the outer lampshades and can be rotated individually around the axis. The distinct lamp is easily adjusted from one setting to the other, directing the light upwards or downwards, or creating an asymmetrical or artistic light. The construction of the lamp and the adjustable lampshades ensures the utmost functionality and invites you to play around with the light. The table lamp is available in brass, chrome, or a combination of white and chrome or black and brass. The glossy metals continue to dominate in Scandinavian interior design, and they give rise to a unique expression in connection with the Nordic style. Place the decorative table lamp on a dresser or a small table or shelf where it can illuminate its surroundings and contribute to the comfortable atmosphere.
