Multi-Lite pendant light with adjustable lampshade – brass frame The Multi-Lite designer pendant light – created by Louis Weisdorf – is the perfect choice for a customised lighting concept. Depending on how the lampshade elements are slid into each other, the light is emitted upwards, downwards or even asymmetrically. This allows you to create a new shade look time and time again, which, in combination with the outer frame in the shape of a brass ring, creates a striking effect in any room. The frame ring serves as a mounting and as a starting point for varying the shade elements. The first example of the Multi-Lite series was created in 1972: the complete creative diversity of its designer – Danish Louis Weisdorf, born in 1932 – is reflected in this impressive lighting object. After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Weisdorf worked in various fields, from construction to the entertainment industry. From 1961 to 1971, he was the chief assistant to Simon Henningsen, the chief architect of Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens. From the late 1960s onwards, he worked in his own studio in Copenhagen, which he shared with architect Ole Panton. During his career as a designer, he collaborated nationally and internationally, repeatedly working with well-known designers such as LE KLINT, Poul Henningsen and Verner Panton. - High-quality product from Danish furniture and lighting manufacturer Gubi

Lamp MastersThe Multi-Lite Pendant S Brass/Midnight Blue was designed by Louis Weisdorf back in 1972. It consists of two inner, cylindrical lampshades while the two-quarter lampshades in a spherical shape make up the outer lampshades and can be rotated individually around the axis. The distinct lamp is easily adjusted from one setting to the other, directing the light upwards or downwards, or creating an asymmetrical or artistic light. The construction of the lamp and the adjustable lampshades ensures the utmost functionality and invites you to play around with the light. The lamp is available in a range of colours and shaped like a ring of either brass or chrome. The glossy metals continue to dominate in Scandinavian interior design, and they give rise to a unique expression when paired with the Nordic style. Place the lamp above your dining or coffee table, and allow it to illuminate the meeting point. You can also place it in one of the dark corners of your home, letting it light up the room and contribute a decorative expression to the atmosphere.
