Inaugural heavily peated single malt matured 36 months in Bourbon barrels, from Concerto barley and borehole water. 50 ppm peat from NE Scotland, non chill filtered with no added colouring, bottled at 50% ABV. Limited to 10,000 bottles worldwide. Lagg Inaugural Release - Batch 1 Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch 50% ABV Nose: Dense peat smoke drapes warm vanilla, toffee and honey, with a resinous, medicinal edge from North East Scotland peat. Coastal brine and sea spray mingle with green barley and citrus zest, while bourbon-barrel oak lends caramel-cream sweetness. A sm Palate: Coastal peat and iodine lead the palate, tempered by creamy vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask. Toasted oak and resinous barley add depth, while peppery spice and a lift of citrus zest sharpen the mid-palate. The finish is long and maritime, Produced in Scotland
