ABOUT: Our Melissa tea has mild, refreshing, minty undertones with a hint of lemon – bear in mind that dried Melissa (Lemon Balm) it’s nowhere near a lemony flavour like in a lemon tea as drying makes it lose some of its essential oils. BENEFITS: Lemon balm is a popular herb to make healthy and nutritious herbal tea as it contains bioactive compounds and minerals. USES: Enjoy on its own or with honey or sugar. Brew, cool down and add some ice cubes for a nice iced tea. Mix with other herbs like peppermint, chamomile. You can even use it in cooking – to add hints of mint to your dishes. BREWING: Allow 1-1½ teaspoons per cup. Pour the freshly boiled water onto the leaves. Steeping time: 5 to 10 minutes. The brewing time and water temperature can be adjusted based on personal preferences.
