Lindores MCDXCIV is distilled and bottled at Lindores Abbey Distillery in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland, the site of the earliest written record of Scotch whisky in 1494. Fruity & Spiced Flavour Profile. Aromas of mellow vanilla and caramel mesh with orchard fruits and nostalgic pear drops, reminiscent of toffee apples. The palate welcomes dried fruits and a bright citrus flare, before finishing with a long gentle spice. Matured in Three Cask Types. A thoughtful marriage of Bourbon Barrels, Wine Barriques and Sherry Butts shapes the whisky building layers of flavour while creating complex depth and well-rounded character.
