Skin blanks are manufacturer-independent and adapt optimally to any shell and tension hoop (rim). Thickness: approx. 1.5 mm (Conga, Tambora), material: untanned buffalo skin Hints: Use the metal ring from the old coat. To prepare the change of coat, let the old coat and the blank soak in warm water for approx. 8 hours. This allows the metal ring to be removed and gives the blank the necessary consistency for further processing.
