Amazon Hand-selected blanks for self-winding, LP skin blanks are ideal for upgrading beginner djembes or djembes for which replacement skins are no longer available. Skin blanks are manufacturer-independent and adapt optimally to every shell and rim. Thickness: approx. 1 mm (Djembe, Cuica), Material: untanned goatskin Hints: Use the metal ring from the old coat. To prepare the change of coat, let the old coat and the blank soak in warm water for approx. 2-3 hours. This allows the metal ring to be removed and gives the blank the necessary consistency for further processing. The sizes given are downward compatible and are suitable for boilers up to the specified crown diameter.
