Penderyn Portwood is a full-bodied single malt Welsh whisky initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Portuguese port casks. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 70 cl presentation and non-chill-filtered, it offers a rich, ruby blush hue and a depth of flavour that has made it a firm favourite among customers in France. TASTING NOTES – Nose, Aroma of rich dried fruits—raisins, dark chocolate and cherry—melds with vibrant cranberry and a hint of toasty oak. Underlying notes of baked nuts add a gentle, nutty dryness that entices you in. TASTING NOTES – Palate, Opens with a creamy richness, delivering layers of smooth honey and soft vanilla.
