Limited release, single malt distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 at 55.3% ABV. A 10-year-old Highland whisky matured in a re-charred oak butt, delivering rich spice, vanilla, and depth. Royal Brackla Thompson Bros Single Malt Scotch 10 year old 55.3% ABV Nose: Salted caramel and toffee apple lead, with pollen and fudgy wudgy, browning pear and bright notes of sweet lemon and honey, finishing in a subtle hint of Himalayan musk. Palate: Very buttery on the palate, it opens with honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger and pear. The sweetness gives way to black pepper, red apples and a note of fresh oak, delivering warmth, depth and a lingering, refined finish. Finish: Sweet lemon returns with some pears and slight acidity.
