Palate: Very buttery on the palate, it opens with honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger and pear. The sweetness gives way to black pepper, red apples and a note of fresh oak, delivering warmth, depth and a lingering, refined finish. Finish: Sweet lemon echoes through the finish, carried by pear fruit with a subtle, mouth-watering acidity that lingers softly, leaving a crisp, citrus-touched closure.
