99.5% Pure Food Grade Saltpetre – High-purity potassium nitrate (E252), suitable for home and small-scale meat curing. Free from additives or fillers. Cures Up to 50kg of Meat – One 100g pack is enough to cure approximately 50kg of meat, depending on the curing method used. Preserves Colour, Taste & Shelf Life – Helps maintain red-pink colour, enhances flavour, and supports long-lasting preservation. Ideal for British Meat Traditions – Commonly used in curing bacon, ham, gammon, corned beef, pork pies, sausages, and charcuterie. For Dry and Wet Curing – Use 0.5g per kg of meat (dry cure) or 2g per litre of water (brine). Do not exceed the recommended rate – finished product must not exceed 150 mg nitrates per kg.
