SELVATIQ RED GIN… Our Selvatiq Gin Rosso Mincio MNCO0320/02 is made from gin botanicals obtained from conservative foraging, distilled individually and hand-picked in a marshy habitat. The highly invasive wild ingredients in Red Gin are handpicked from the lands surrounding the Mincio River in northern Italy, a place characterized by the presence of numerous species. A unique gin from the deep muddy tones of Lotus root and the aromaticity of Seaberry fruit and the floral notes of Hibiscus. TASTE… The shady tones of Nelumbo nucifera roots provide the distinctive character of this spirit by giving it an unmistakable background scent. This peculiar scent of lotus flowers is then balanced by the fruity flavours of Hippophae rhamnoides, Hibiscus palustris flowers and the addition of Juniperus communis berries. A specific feature of this gin is its bright red colour, obtained from the infusion of Hibiscus palustris. Unique, wild, balanced and refined.
